Instructions for Filing Complaint (Section 31, RERA Act 2016)
In accordance with Section 31 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016,
any aggrieved person may file a complaint before the Authority or the Adjudicating Officer
through the RERA Web Application.
- Form M (Authority Jurisdiction): For possession, refund, compliance, quality issues, or other violations.
- Form N (Adjudicating Officer Jurisdiction): For compensation and/or interest claims.
- Select the correct form strictly based on the relief sought; incorrect selection may cause delay or rejection.
- Relief claimed must fall within the jurisdiction of the selected forum.
- Execution proceedings may be initiated only after disposal of the complaint and after 60 days from the order date.
- Fee: ₹1,000 (online payment only through payment gateway).
- Provide accurate and complete information to avoid rejection or legal consequences.
