Shri Naveen Verma

Shri Naveen Verma had joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1982 and was allotted the Bihar cadre. After having served in various positions both in the State and Central Governments, he superannuated as Secretary in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India on 28 February 2019 - a position which he held since October 2015.
His last assignment in the State was as Principal Secretary, Department of Industries, Government of Bihar (2012-14).
Shri Verma did his BA ( Honours in Economics) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi and MA in Economics from Delhi School of Economics . During service he completed MBA ( Project Based) from University of Hull, United Kingdom.
